How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your OxGuide account using either of the following methods:

Option 1: In-App Deletion

1. Open the OxGuide app
2. Go to the Profile tab
3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
4. Confirm the deletion

Your account and data will be deleted immediately.

Option 2: Email Request

If you no longer have access to the app, you can request account deletion by email:

1. Send an email to hello@oxguide.com
2. Use the subject line: “Account Deletion Request”
3. Include the email address associated with your OxGuide account

We will process your request within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

• Account information (email, display name, profile)
• AI conversation history and chat threads
• Saved places lists and itineraries
• Navigation history
• App preferences and settings

What Is Retained

The following data may be retained after account deletion:

• Purchase records — retained for 7 years as required by law for tax and accounting purposes
• Anonymized analytics data — aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics
